Do you have a hard time talking or eating because you have missing teeth? Do you ever wonder what you might be able to do about it? There are a number of things you can consider doing to restore your teeth and smile, including a dental bridge.

Typically, a dental bridge is made up of at least three teeth: an artificial tooth positioned between two crowns. These artificial teeth—which are known as pontics—are designed to look and feel like your natural teeth. Once you’ve had a bridge placed, you could improve the appearance of your smile and your ability to chew, speak, and eat. Furthermore, a bridge can stop your natural teeth from shifting.

Like other restorations, bridges can sometimes take two visits to complete. If you do need to make two trips to our office, we’ll place a temporary bridge until your permanent bridge is placed. However, during your first visit with us, we’ll be able to create a mold of your teeth. This allows our team to create the most comfortable bridge possible.

If you’re interested in learning more about the benefits of dental bridges, or would like to learn more about your other restoration options, please feel free to contact Dr. Jose-Luis Ruiz at 818-641-5577.
